I spent a very pleasant couple hours at the range in Leadville Colorado. They have covered concrete bench tables with adjustable seats.I needed to sight in the new Lupold 2-7 scope, mounted on the BBSC 357. At the rifle range, the 50 yard target had been taken down. I tried using the 100 yard target. After 15 shots I could not find a single round in the target. I gave up and went to the pistol range where center fire are not allowed. They did have a serviceable 50 yard target. There was no one else at the Range, so I set up to shoot.

I put up my paper, and shot. The bottom right corner is the result. After a couple of adjustments, I got the elevation correct. Somebody turned the left right knob the wrong direction, don’t know who. Needless to say that shot on the far right edge of the paper was aggravating.

So, after recovering from that bit of tomfoolery, I was able to move the rounds into the bull. The final upper left target was shot as if OK I know what I’m doing now. I am satisfied with the results.

There was a mild wind from behind. Blue skies tinted with smoke. It was sad to see the entire mountain range covered with smoke.

All things considered, a very rewarding trip to the mountains. Caught a lot of fish, hung out with good friends, and enjoyed being up in the mountains.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.
