Some range time this morning with the Henrys...
The plan was to shoot both my Henry carbines, the .45 and .44, this morning but about 1/2 way down there remembered I didn't bring any 45 Colt ammo! I had packed .357 along with the .44 Mag...must have been thinking of my .357 Henry. Dang...to far to turn back so on I went.
Was great to get back to shootin' up the Saloon again and the .44 was shooting my 240 gr. MB bullet load of 9.5 Unique very well.
A cactus had sprung up next to the Saloon so I put a couple target plates on it and an old bean can. Also worked on the 5 of Club card a bit too!
From 30 yds and from kneeling position some nice ragged hole groups appeared. Now I had just installed a new ghost ring sight insert in the
.44 Mag Carbine since I stole the old ghost insert for the new .45 Colt Carbine. I just slipped it in place and it seems to be right on!
Wish I could have got to enjoy some shoots out of the .45 Carbine but he wasn't going to eat that .357 feed very well.
It was great to hit the steel targets again for a while before the high humidity started to work on me!

Dang good shooting forty, as usual. All that rain must of made that cactus grow! Imagine that!

Man I hate it when that memory part of the body doesn’t do its job. Maybe a guy needs to stash a 100 rounds of ammo for each caliber in the club house Forty. Nice shootin to Forty

Actually I was surprised how dry it was there with no puddles around. My neighbor there stopped by and said they got mostly sprinkles when we
were getting big rains storms up here 30 miles North.

Looks like you had some fun.
Lol, I've done that before get to the range with four rifles, and only three types of ammo.
