Another Single Action Range report
Another Single Action Range report
Took this out again today for the second time. I had 2 loads to shoot. Bought some Matts Bullets. He is in Arkansas. They shipped quick and from what I can tell by research the guy has good following and his bullets are rated high. I bought 200 from him in 45 colt. There 210 grain. Loaded 25 with 6.0 grains of Red Dot and 25 with the Ranchroper load of 7.0 grains of Universal. Id just like to say one thing here. Ranchroper is one hell of a shot with his and its something that I dont know if there is anyone else that could even come close to shooting one as well as he does. The sights on this gun take some getting use to. That V notch in top of the hammer with that front sight is very different to shoot with. After shooting mine twice now I can appreciate what he is able to do with his. I was using 2 hands at 15 yards and cant even come close to what he can do with one. He is truly nothing short of amazing when he shoots his. First target you will see is 24 rounds of Red Dot. Second target is 24 rounds of Universal. Darn photographer got his finger in the way with the second pic. I really like this pistol its fun to shoot. I did order some 200 gr from MC but I dont see anything wrong with the 210's from Matts. Need to load up some more and shoot this pistol some more.

Looks like a fun day Al. Lot o’ big holes going on.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

really nice looking 45 .... under stood on the V notch
Re: Another Single Action Range report
RR the big army grip is one reason I like this pistol. I have a bigger hand and shooting a Ruger Blackhawk takes a different grip with your hand on its grip. Tucking the pinky underneath the bottom of the grip takes some getting use to for sure.

Those two loads look mighty close, with the edge going to Universal maybe? Pretty close. Good shooting tho.

I see some good ragged hole groups and nothing at all wrong with that shooting BigAl! I like that Red Dot load some nice ragged hole groups!
5.5-6.0 Red Dot works very well.
RR should put up a video of how he makes those amazing shots!!

15 yards, 45 feet away. Each one of those shots would have knocked old Black Bart right off his horse.
