Thats even better. I just ordered 2 one 4 inch and one 6 inch in 1/2 inch thick. Gonna use those at 50 yards. Which is typically where I shoot most of the time

This one will most likely see some long distance stuff also.
Have a portable stand so it will be easy to move about.
It's the one in the back yard, going to make a permanent one for the yard. ;)

Going to use the rest of those fine .44 250 gr Elmer Keith bullets that Big Al sent me in .44 Special...the "Skeeter" type load.
I will try 8.2 gr. of Power Pistol which will give same velocity as 7.5 of Unique but still a bit lower on pressure than the Skeeter load.
This load is noted as a good load for speed and being accurate according to Brian Pearce writings.

These will be "specially" for my Ruger Flat Top Bisley .44 Special.

My older brother has a Model 1909 revolver that belonged to our grandfather. I loaded a box of 20 250 gr RNFP ..45 Colt over 9.5, 10.0, 10.3 and 10.5 gr of AA#5. I loaded 5 rounds with each weight of powder for him to try. It only took 1 hour. Not to bad for weighing each load with a beam scale and powder trickler.

500 more of those MB 180's on the way! Placed the order today and think these will be "go to bullet load" for my Henry BB.
Urging my buddy who also owns a Henry in .357 to give them a shot as he is just getting into reloading for .357

Atta boy forty! Break the new fella in right. Loaded up the last of my 180's yesterday. Need to drive over to my "candy store" for another 500.
Think I'll use my 158 coated for the Blackhawk.

Loaded up some .22 Hornet with H110 and Accurate 2400 using Sierra 45gr soft point. I've got four different loads and going to see which one works best in the Ruger. The others are W296 with 50 gr Hornady SX and 50 gr Sierra Blitz.

Today I disassembled the Henry BBB 45 Colt and cleaned it and reassembled it. I also changed the scope from a 3-9x40mm to a 1.75-5x20mm. Although I went from a Leupold to a Tasco it is an older Tasco made in Japan so has good optics. It is clear and, hopefully, accurate. I like the way it looks better too.

The scope looks to me like it may be sitting a little to far rearward.
Otherwise all looks great, hope you get it to the range shortly.
I like the Henry towels are hiding your inventory.

I thought it looks to far to the rear but if I move it forward the eye relief is wrong. I may slide it forward and learn to deal with the head position. It'll be several weeks before I can test it out. Thought about going today but my surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. No food or exercise today.
