Bought Two Henry Rifles Today

Post by Rugerfanboy » Fri Jun 24, 2016 10:28 pm

Finally bought my father's Big Boy Steel 44 Magnum today at Cabela's cause they were having there 4th of July sale. Regular price: $699.99, sale price: $649.99. Used my military discount (5%), which drop the price down to $617.49. Since I was there, I asked them if they had a Big Boy Steel 357 Magnum in stock. The clerk looked it up and said sure do. To make a long story short, I took that one home as well. :D I have everything for my father's rifle, just need to install everything on it. As for the Big Boy Steel 357 Magnum, I need to order some things from Henry and some things from Skinner Sights. Plus, reload some ammo for it.

As for my father's rifle, I plan to have everything installed and plan to give it to him over the 4th of July. This will be his Christmas present, but I want to give it to him before so that he can shoot it and get it ready for deer season.

Thanks for the complement and a BIG thank you for your service...!!! You guys built the best shooting ranges even thou us Marines tried to blow them up and burn them done with our tracer rounds.

Sure can, but I only have a few rules..!!! :D
1) Always be on time when it's "Range Day". If your on-time, your late; if your five minutes early, your on-time...!!!
2) Police up your own brass.
3) Must be able to spend long hours in the reloading room....aka....man cave...!!! 8-)

If they don't, I know Henry will make it right...!!! :D

If you plan to put this picture in your barn to control zombies....consider it done...!!!

The praise goes out to Henry cause without them, me and my father wouldn't be sporting the same rifle. :P

Thank you and thank you for your service to his great country. Plus, a very big thanks for the free rides you sailors gave us when we needed to go somewhere. You guys were always available when we needed a ride and it was always free. So, from a Marine to a Sailor....Semper Fi...!!!

Sure do love my Ruger firearms but I'm done with them for now, unless they come out with something I cant live without...lol. I'd been done with them years ago, but this one revolver took me five years to find (no longer in production) and I wasn't stopping until I found one and brought it home.

I can see him now on opening day of deer season...though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me....all deer should fear my Henry rifle, if not, you will be on my dinner table. :D

Thank you and you do the same. I know Henry is gonna make this the best 4th of July I've ever embark upon.

That's great. I'm sure your dad will love it and it's so nice to give him time to ready it for deer season. I'm looking forward to two range reports soon.
