New BB Steel Carbine .44 for me!

Post by pooka » Sat Jan 04, 2020 2:55 pm

Hi everyone, I just received my new steel Big Boy Carbine in 44 mag. I am very impressed with the handling, smooth cycling and the nice trigger squeeze. I don't care for the rear sight though. I am thinking of putting a Weaver 1.5-3X or a rec peep. I have a Lyman 66 as well as a Williams FPS 94,336 sight (see my thread in "sights" section). I cant wait to shoot it, I'll report back when I have a chance.

Welcome to the forum from Va.!
About the rear sight...I have a .44 BBS carbine also and I removed the sight insert and opened it up the notch and down a touch...looks like a "U" shape.
This gives me more room around the front bead and easier to get on target. The BBS in .44 Mag is a great handy powerful shooter!
