Re: My $100 Garden Gun
I'll try and put some pellets on cardboard for you. What distance would you like to see? Here's a little video.

Re: My $100 Garden Gun
if you can get a solid pattern at 25 yds, I'd consider that to be exceptional

Re: My $100 Garden Gun
Just a little food for thought.

Now if Henry made a Mares leg version like the Mossberg Shokwave I would be all over it. I guess for a $200 stamp one could just make their own.

Re: My $100 Garden Gun
3.5 grains of Hodgdon Titewad. I cut my over powder wads from a milk jug with a hole punch just slightly larger than the case and press firmly down on the powder. I fill the case almost to the rim with #9 shot and seal with a disk of styrofoam cut from a take-out container. I seal that with a dab of clear silicone.
If you look back at the first picture you can see a tear at the top of the cardboard where the plastic over powder wad hit.

You're welcome. It's a useful tool for close range pesting. I killed my first rattlesnake with it last week. I generally leave snakes alone, but this one was inside the fence where we let out 2 little spoiled dogs run.
