Congrats, Ranch Roper.

I'm partially color-blind, and don't know how many tries I had to go through to get "close enuff" on that signature!
The funny thing is that I'm still not sure if it's any good. (Picking a standard number from the color group would be helpful, I guess).
Have a great day!

And how appropriate is that?!!

RanchRoper, you are the only cowboy I've ever known. You may be the only cowboy I'll ever know. And, I have to say, "It's an honor, Cowboy"! Almost every day, you post something that makes me smile.

Congratulations Ranch Roper. I really enjoy your range reports, photographs, posts and generally having you around.

As CT_Shooter has already said, you are the first and only Cowboy / Rancher I have ever "known". If I was wearing a hat, I'd take it off to you. Since I'm not, I'll raise a glass in your honor and general direction a little later in another section.

The sentiments are much appreciated. My parents have all their old photographs on "slides" but there are more than a few of me as a little tyke in hat, chaps, and gun belt sprawled out in front of the TV watching Rawhide or Bonanza. Faithfully. Kinda funny how stuff sticks with you. I had a Mattel lever action rifle that was a Winchester copy I guess, with real wood and you side loaded metal cartridges. It took an roll of caps under the hammer, and you could cock it, pull the trigger, the cap would go off with a BANG and when you cocked it again the cartridge would eject. I wore it out eventually but not before clearing the whole neighborhood of bad guys. That would have been around 1962 or so, I was 4 or 5. So once a cowboy always a cowboy I guess. :)
