If you were to attend those BP shoots a few times and make a few acquaintances I bet there is a few guys there that would let you shoot theres and you could see what you think. They could also probably give you a few pointers on some guns. BP shooters are really a bunch of good people.
Guaranteed I'd love it. They have a giant meet every March. Sales, ammo, discussions and demonstrations. I'm definitely going :-)
