today got off to a slow start but its warming up rapidly .... 86 with a ReelFeel of 95 at 2PM .... predicted high 89 with a following overnight low of 65 .... no rain today (Tuesday) but on Thusday and Friday they are calling for heavy thunderstorms in the afternoon .... these storms can bring flooding downpours and localized damaging wind gusts ....we hope for much cooler fall type temperatures to move in within a week or so

Well.......
Bright side of the forum being down, I got a lot of other stuff done that needed doing.

52' and sunny this morning. 87' later. Tomorrow likely similar, then fallish temps going forward. Next Monday some rain likely. Hopefully have the rest of the fire wood pile in by then.

Coffee with Plain Jane and the site is back.

Hopefully the upgrades work out well.

Enjoy your day.

I purchased a mounted snow blower for my tractor and I'm making sure
all the parts are there. It's easier to do it now and not when it zero.

57' and sunny this morning. Maybe 85' later. Looking like the last day of summer temps. From here it's looking like fall weather temps 60-70's and rain.

yesterday (Wednesday) got off to a fairly routine start but things quickly unraveled .... a near record high of 94 accompanied by high humidity made it miserable to be outside .... first up, Maureen had her first medical checkup since her knee replacement two weeks ago .... bottom line, when it comes to her incision healing and her no longer needing a walker she's making a remarkable recovery .... unfortunately, it was discovered that a couple of blood clots have formed in her calf muscle .... bouncing from one facility to another during the process of diagnosis took us down a somewhat stressful path .... she's on a rather extensive treatment process that will take several months to complete .... this morning (Thursday) dawned under a clear sky but that is forecasted to change drastically later this afternoon .... we are told to expect a heavy thunderstorm late this afternoon; storms can bring flooding downpours and localized damaging wind gusts .... we have multiple outings on tap to pickup medication that have to be worked around her physical therapy session

Jim, best to Maureen, sounds like a struggle and your weather isn’t helping.

47 with sunny skies and heading to around 80. But a cold front arrives around mid day bring winds of 20 gusting to 35. This could be a problem with all the wildfires still burning in the area, particularly near dave77 in central Washington. There are two big fires burning in his area. The fire that got close to our property is 90% contained but today could flare it up. Fingers crossed.

Me, I’ll be on a green golf course up in the mountains of northern Idaho so no fire problems. Maybe some rain next week.

Good morning, I have not checked in here recently. I'm still kicking, just not as high as before.
Had some rain around for the past few days and we needed it bad. It's 60° here this AM and says around 82 for later. Worked the past 3 days and finished yesterday and not working today.
A couple days ago after work I was over by the big gongs piddling around and I'm going to put in a little food plot.
I'm walking around a bit, stop and I turn around and see something black in this cedar tree, head high and 3 or 4 feet from me. Moved around to get a better look and oh my...
