Hello all,
Was wondering if there were any forums dedicated to Henry owners. Googled "Henry Owners Forums" and there here was!
I've always wanted a Henry rifle. Last year, not only did I finally get my Henry rifle, I also got myself a few extras to boot.
My original purchase was the large frame, brass .45-70 (H010BG). Found out afterwards that I wouldn't be able to use it for hunting deer in my state. At least not on public lands. So then I decided that I needed the Big Boy Brass .360 Buckhammer (H024-360BH), which would be legal to use for deer in the state of Indiana. After receiving it, and seeing how beautiful it is, I just don't think I can bring myself to actually shooting it. That's when I decided to buy the Color Case Hardened (H012GRCC) .44 Magnum/.44 Spl., and as beautiful as it is, I'm going to make myself use it. In fact, I've already installed a Skinner peep sight on it, and if that sight doesn't work for these old eyes, I've got a Trijicon, Ascent 1-4 x 24 scope to mount on it. Finally, I also purchased a new pump action rifle (H003TM) in .22 WMR. I need it for this years upcoming squirrel camp. Yeah, I know, head shots, only. lol!
Forgot to mention that I enjoy shooting, hunting, metal detecting, photography, collecting animal traps and horror comics/magazines.

Normally, I can't afford to buy even one, but I came into a little money, and got carried away. I told myself that I should get while the getting was good. So far, I have no regrets.
Thanks for the welcome!

Thanks, Vaquero! It's the danged collector in me that always wants to keep everything in minty condition for later when I have to sell. Drives me crazy some times. I may end up shooting the Buckhammer though. The .45-70? I don't know. It kind of scares my 135 pound self.
