Frontier Percussion Rifle
Out at the range this morning with my Pedersoli Frontier .50 caliber caplock. I rarely shoot paper targets anymore, mostly steel. But conditions were good today so I put up a target at 100 yds. A member here recently asked for targets so here ya go.
50 grains Triple 7 2fg
.490 ball
.010 patch
8 shots off hand with fixed primitive sights. 68 year old eyes still doing ok. It was 20F at the range with a light dusting of snow. My kinda' weather.
Shoot safe & often. RR

Those of us shooting center fire scoped rifles would be happy with that target. How you manage to do so well with the rifles you use is incredible. Keep on posting pics, we sure do enjoy seeing your success.

Amazing shooting at that distance with those sights with old eyes steady as a rock and sub-freezing temps! RR has it down alright!!

Out shooting the Frontier percussion long rifle this morning, hit some steel gongs and shot this little target at 50 yds off hand. Spring appears to be here. 60F.

Exceptional as always. Not sure I could see that target at 50 yards.
