Thanks for this post. Just joined the forum yesterday and specifically was looking for information regarding an aperture sight for my BBS and lo....I find this thread.

Well I just ordered one of these winged 1894 skinner sights for my BBS 357 and hopefully it's a nice addition to my rifle.

I'm thinking seriously about ordering one these sights for my BBS 41 mag. Does the front sight need replaced with a higher one? I put a skinner sight on my 22 ( I love it) but I had to put a taller front sight on it.
