as mentioned above, we are camped just off of I-95 near Four Oaks,NC .... 91 degrees (RealFeel of 96) @ 3:45PM on Sun June 7th with a forecasted high of 98 followed by an overnight low of 68 .... we are scheduled to leave here tomorrow morning after breakfast .... rain/thunderstorms are due to roll in around noon .... problems with our satellite TV service have developed .... I've been on the phone for almost 3 hours speaking with two different fellows, neither of which English is their first language .... I think I know what the problem is and have the equipment at home to prove if I'm right .... pretty quiet here, frankly that's kind of nice

Low 60s and overcast here in Northern France. We are heading towards Dunkirk today to find the grave of the uncle of my friend (on whose boat I’m travelling). He died at 18 in WW1.

A brisk 39 this morning but we will hopefully see 70 today. That is until the forecast clouds arrive with rain overnight. Yipee! Maybe up to .25 inch. That won’t put much of a dent of the 2” deficit currently. But we’ll take what we can get. Starting so see some wildfires around the area but nothing out of control yet. Yesterday there was a 5 acre file about 10 miles west of my place that led to evacuations. All is good now with the fire out and evacuations canceled.

Seeing the dentist this morning for routine maintenance. Then maybe some chores around the house before the rain arrives.

Does will park young fawns where they feel they are safe and leave for a while. A few years back I had a dirt pile back
in the woods along the driveway and a doe parked three, that's right, triplets right there for the day several times. She knew
I was hauling black dirt from there to do my yard, but she felt they were safe. They don't seem to fear tractors, anyway,
each time I got a bucket of dirt they would get up and watch me, but not run away. See, Mom told them to stay there.
Anyway, she must feel you're OK.

I guess buying a silencer was a good idea.

Many years ago at my last place I fenced the pasture. Unknowingly I fenced in twin fawns. When I mowed the pasture I left a large area un-mowed to give them some shelter/hiding cover. Mom kept coming back everyday to feed (I assume). Finally one was able to jump the fence with mom and then they both would come back daily. Finally the second made it over the fence and all was good! :D

53 this morning after some nice rain overnight. Only about .11 but we’ll be happy with any. More rain today with possible thunderstorms this afternoon. Back to the dentist today to get a broken filling replaced.
