Good morning, 61° and around 70 later, says showers in the area. As luck would have it, the grandson smacked a nice doe before I left for work yesterday morning. A little story is in the what did you get/see thread.
Also, we finished a small job yesterday so I'll be off til after the first. :D

Sorry to see that, coop. I've heard that there is a pretty bad strain of it going around. Hope she back to normal soon.

Sympathies to Mrs. Coop, the national news is reporting this year’s flu is a bad one. We had our shots in October but I understand this strain may not be stopped by the vaccine but should be slowed….. :(

31 and overcast this morning but a dry day is expected. Then more rain/snow coming in tomorrow. I see on the news California is having one of those atmospheric rivers we experienced the last couple of weeks. Lots of flooding and mud slides. Hoping for the best. Spoke with my grandson in LA yesterday and he didn’t mention any issues at home.

With today’s dry day I’m planning on doing my third final cleanup of the yard. All the windstorms have dumped lots of pine needles that the dogs keep dragging in on their feet. Hope this one is really the FINAL one.

sorry to hear about your wife's flue .... hopefully she will be able to get over it quickly

53 at 12:30PM .... forecasted high 64 with it falling to an overnight low of 46 .... we've already delivered gifts to the home of our oldest son where we will be spending Christmas .... following that, a stop at Walmart for meds and groceries .... Walmart was a zoo .... extremely busy and we were glad to get out of there and back home .... in a couple of ours we plan to tow our camper to where we will be over Christmas

Got her home and she's sleeping which the Doc said is the best thing to do.
Also went and got a prescription for Tamiflu which the Doc also says is good stuff.

After I got back I went to the neighbor's sheep ranch and got her Christmas present. Six lamb
chops and two packs of ground lamb. I grew up raising sheep and lost any taste for it but she
loves it, so, Merry Christmas next time she opens the freezer.

The Emergency Room was swamped with sick folks. I guess this is a bad one.
