Good shooting Randy. Hey, that round gizmo between you and the fireplace; looks like a sea going mine! First picture. Thats what happens when I watch war movies.

I was recently using it to boil the deer head the grandson and I found.
I actually have 2 of them, the other is used to cook stews in once in a while.

Well, we had another fun day here before he had to go back home.
Of course we had to have a little woods adventure so he could play in the water some more.
Made my hands cold just thinking about it.
Came home and ate a bite, then off to the picnic table for some more 22 plinking.
Had 26 rds. left out of a new 325 count box of Fed. AutoMatch ammo.
The Henry H001, a single-shot Stevens, the Marlin 89c a semi-auto and 2 sa revolvers.
I'm now enjoying a cold one and about to start cleaning up.
A nice BD weekend for this old man.

Another little test this afternoon, this time with some RL-7 and the 300gr xtp.
Then I switched over to those cast I recently made, using 2400. Started left and was excited with the first 3, then wow.
The 310 was just all over, and with the heavy 320ish was okay two and two and the one loner. The barrel was a little leaded up by the end. Next time I'll add gas checks to the Lee and Lyman's, I couldn't find the other when I was loading but I have recovered them now. The last shot looks like a slot, there was already hole in the board and I guess that's the reason.
It was still a fun afternoon.

Got out yesterday afternoon after work for some gong ringing.
Tried a load with the new 260 gr mold in the 44 Henry, then just just ringing the gongs.
The Henry 41 mag. and the 45 colt Marlin Cowboy.

I changed out the scope rings and put a lower set on.
So I guess I need to load a few rounds and see about zeroing it.

A couple days ago I changed scope rings on this Trapper and lowered it about a half inch. I got a chance the check to check it out this afternoon. I also bumped up one of my test loads a whole 10th of a grain.
Amazing.
Five shots. Wholly molly.
I adjusted the scope a bit and tried a different powder I've also been playin around with. It ain't beating the RL-7, not yet anyway.
