Down at the range this morning to try a bit hotter load for the 1851 Pepperbox revolver. Went from 15 gr. to 17 gr of the Black MZ powder with the .375 ball. Setup the gel block on my table with 2 layers of denim and shot distance would be like at a poker table. Two shots fired left two burning holes I :o had to extinguish and 8 and 11.5 inch penetration which would get the job done! Was impressed ! Love playing with this little shooter!

Would not want to take a hit from those two little fireballs!
