Elmer Keith's #5 single action. Or one of Ed McGivern's S&W revolvers

My buddy in IN just replied to an email with the news that they have a special in his LOCAL gunshop. A custom semi-auto conversion of the German WWII MG42 Machine Gun with 1,000 round case of ammo, Tripod, and all the assorted tools and doo dahs that go with it.... only $15,000.00. He said he is going to ask Santa for a pair to flank the living room doors.

The Caliber is 7.92 x 57 and the cyclic rate of fire was between 12,000 and 18,000 rpm. They called it Hitler's Buzz saw, among other things. WWII vets said the sound alone was terrifying.

Once he sent that email, I did a little reading. I thought the Dillon Minigun was fast!
