Big Guy Passed
Re: Big Guy Passed
So sorry PJM, what a tough month you and your wife have had. The picture of him in the surf is so telling.
RIP Bleu and enjoy romping with your sister again.

It's always hard to lose a member of the family.
But we always have them with us.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Well if you are committed then many of us will be committed right alongside you. Behind this short picket fence one cat and the ashes of two Golden Retrievers is buried. Enjoy the memories and the cold one too!
Re: Big Guy Passed
When we lost our indoor/outdoor cat to an owl our dog spent a good month standing on the patio staring at the woodshed where the cat used to hang out. Funny, the dog seemed to not give the cat any attention when she tried to play with him but when she was gone he sure took notice.

Re: Big Guy Passed
So sorry to hear of your much loved friend passing. Just like members of the family but can be much more dedicated to the ones they love. We lost one of ours back in 2007 after 16 years and it took 8 more years before we decided to find another one which is Buster.

Re: Big Guy Passed
Sorry for your loss. My mother told me at a young age that when you get a pet, you also get a heartache. It took a while for me to understand that, but I learned after the loss of my first dog.
