I am surprised the 327 hasnt proven more popular, it is like a 32/20 on steroids. The fact it will cycle and fire 32s&wl 32H&R just make it even more versatile to me.
My 32s&wl loading with a 90gr SWC is fantastic on small game. Enough accuracy to head shoot rabbits at 50y, no more damage than a 22lr but a more emphatic killer. Cheaper to run than a 22lr, a few grains of powder and primer, the swc I cast from wheel weights and other scrap, dont even size them just tumble lube and load. Less powder and lead than even my light 38spl loadings.
I dont think you could find a better chambering if you wanted a small game and plinking outfit that is cheap to run and has the ability to handle smaller medium sized game with well placed shots.

I have a friend who has one, he likes it a lot.
He has a few 32 caliber handguns.

the 327 would be a good one for the Grandsons to plink with.
Maybe I should look for one.

Shooting even the powerful Federal 100 grain 327’s in a Henry is like shooting a rimfire. No recoil at all. Now, put a 32 H&R in there and it’s even softer. Or the Federal 80 grain 327’s which are considerably softer shooting than the 100’s. For me, I only shoot the 100’s in the rifle as I have a couple of revolvers in 327 and save my lower velocity ammo for those. Your grandsons will enjoy it.
