I've got some 45/70 ladder loads I've been trying to shoot, but the weather won't cooperate. I'm only loading 3 of each load instead of 5 to save bullets, etc. Too hard to come by these days.
Forecast don't look promising anytime soon.
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

Today, I loaded 100 rounds of .45 Colt. Used 6.4 grains of Green Dot, 250 gain lead RNFP Hitek coated.
I shoot .45 Colt in my Ruger New Vaquero, and Uberti 1866 Winchester. Both at steel and lots of fun to shoot.

I've never tried Green dot, I was gifted about a half lb last summer.
Been wondering what to do with it. ;)

I was gifted a pound of Green Dot too (back in 2009) and got this load from the Lyman Manual. Been buying and using it on and off ever since. It's also a good load for bowling pins, Clears the table every time!!!

I'm sorry, it's the 444 Marlin. Marlin introduced it in '65 and is one of the reasons that the 45-70 made a comeback.

For Christmas, I got a 500 rounds of Extreme .45 220gr. bullets. I figure I can use them in BB 45 colt and the Ruger Black Hawk with the spare cylinder in 45ACP. I also can use them in my EDC S&W 1911.
I just finished up tumbling a bunch of brass a couple of weeks ago. Just waiting for the weather to clear up. I am no RR. I don't want to shoot in your teeth North wind at below 0 temps. Thank-you.

Nothing fancy today. I just out together some 45 Colt loads to finish up this Alliant Bullseye powder. I've had several different powders sitting in the cabinet, forever, with less the a pound in the container. I just want them finished up and gone. It was either this of put them in the garden for fertilizer.

I loaded 50 rounds of .243 Win. for the Long Ranger. 38.0 grains of RL 15 pushing a Sierra 85 grain HPBT. That rifle really likes this load.
Here they are as a couple!! :D

Need to feed the Savage, so I loaded 50 rounds of 7mm-08 Rem. I like the Sierra 120 gr. ProHunter and use 40.0 gr of H4895. Velocity and terminal performance is great for whitetails.
You can see a couple of left over red tipped Nosler 120 gr. BTs in the rear. I use the same powder and charge with those. They are also great shooters, and I go to them when the Sierras are scarce (because they're more money :( ).

don't know if you are aware of Shooter's Pro Shop .... they sell Nosler's "Blems" .... their bullets that might have a blemish in their finish .... I've used them for years and don't ever recall being able to see the blemish .... as you can see in the link below, their prices are very reasonable .... if you are interested you can get on their mailing list and they will notify you when they have them in stock
