Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
I'm going to load up what I shot Friday: .327 Fed Mag and .32 S&W along with some .45 ACP. I'm also going to load up some .44 spcl for my new GP100 and 45 LC for that new Ruger convertible.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Jake, what length barrel did you get on your 45 BH? I purchased mine in January with a 5.5 and it performs really well. I've been loading the Missouri Cowboy #1 250 grain.

Since it has decided to rain today & wipe out my outside plans, I'm back to reloading the 45/70's I had started.

Today I cleaned up all my brass from this weekend, a busy one at that. Loaded up some .308 for my BM-59, 125 TNT over SW Precision and some more test loads for the X. Loaded up all Universal rounds this time. Loaded a Missouri coated 405 over 13.5, 14, 14.5 and the same with ACME 350's. I also loaded 5 rnds of the 405 over 40gn of H4895.

Dog gone B41, I want to go shooting with you ! Sounds like a great day at the range.
I just loaded and shot my first batch of Missouri Buffalo 405 grains and chronoed them a few days ago. They preformed well and I really like them. Going to play with some variance this week.

Went down tonight and cleaned my Richard Mason conversion in 45 colt. I hope to get out this weekend and show you how bad I shoot mine compared to RR.

That's some fine shooting with the .357 lever there. After noticing your mv's, I looked at one of my first posts regarding those 180's and 2400 and saw where I mentioned mv's around 1100+ fps. Looked at my notes and that load of 11.5gr 2400/180's did indeed have a MV of 1400(+/-). Must of had a senior moment back then when I typed that. Opps! Glad you put your MV up. Made me think. Thanks r-n-g.

Finished up another 100 158 gr. 38 Specials using the MB coated RNFP bullet loaded over 5.6 gr. of Power Pistol.
Shoots very well and accurate out of my Henry BB 357 and the Cimarron SA revolver. Nothing but wind and rain since yesterday
and no dry weather till weekend.

It was a fun day. A Buddy and I went long range. Made a first round hit at 1000yds and got DOPE for some of my rifles. Took my 6.5 Creedmoor to 1000 and my M1 Garand and AR-15 to 600yd. The M1 with iron sights at 600 was impressive or just lucky.runnin n gunnin wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 9:33 pmDog gone B41, I want to go shooting with you ! Sounds like a great day at the range.

Not a fan of Bass or Cabelas, last resort only.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
I dont trade there often but they had what I was looking for and other places are out. So it was sort of a last resort.

I'm with ya, when they are the only game in town that has what you need . . . .

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Well, I hit every gun/reloading shop around today, ( yep, kinda a last resort thing ). Went to Bass, did score a lb. of IMR 4198,
and a Wheeler screwdriver set., Academy Sports, bore snake, fuel filter., Reloaders Bench, primers. A little here, little there.
That's the way it's been lately.
Got 100 Hornady 45/70 bullets to arrive tomorrow. I'll be fixed for a while.

I loaded some 45 ACP, 45 LC and 44 SPCL over the last couple of days. I'm taking a rest today. Going to the range tomorrow to shoot 'em all up!
