Hmmm. One of 2 things: Either the gun is not accurate, or he's a lousy shot.

I like the idea of multiple front sights. As for accrucy, the seems to be dependent on round, front sight and shooter. It seems the lower front with .357s performed the best with him. In a self-defense senario, that would probably work. For hunting, a handgun would not be my first choice.
Yet, I think that 25 yards is part of most qualifying requirements for carrying a firearm in the line of duty. In that respect, a paper target instead of a steel plate may have provided a better idea of what the shooter is capable of with that firearm. Even he stated, the lack of hitting the target was more due to him and not the firearm.
Would I buy one? I don't know. Currently, I think that I am good on .357 revolvers. But, I thought that same thing a few months back. Until, I pulled the trigger on a Colt King Cobra Carry. Then, I found myself in the market for one.

Yep either the revolver or shooter but I have much better .357 revolvers for that price range. Henry should have started out with a good SA shooter!!!
I can't any mention of a 22 caliber on the Henry site?

Well, I bought a new to me 357 revolver yesterday, but it weren't one of those.
And for less coin, even after buying and paying shipping, and then the transfer.
I'll still be under 6 bills.

It should be here mid week.

Accuracy? Has to be the shooter, at least I hope it is. Pretty bleak.

he is flinching on the rest. watching the rest of the vid, I don't think he's that great of a shot. He missed all six at a 2/3rds size silhouette target.

The shooter did some serious flinching with .357's which explains the flyers. Also is right handed and left eye dominant. Could that cause the right of center hits I wonder?

A "New Vaquero". These have a slightly smaller frame than The Vaqueros.
I just checked, and it shows to be delivered today.

Thanks for posting the video. At this point, I have no intention on purchasing one but I must say it is beautiful brass and walnut.
For me and my eyes, I just have to have an adjustable rear sight. I am a horrible handgun shooter with fixed sights.

I saw some gun shop out of Georgia online who had two new Henry Big Boy revolvers with Gun Fighter grips, on sale for $711 and change. I almost bought one then remembered it will be the best part of a year before California adds it to their approved roster.

And I think part of the reason why his groups were not super tight comes down to it being the first time he is shooting it, and on camera, while getting use to the feel of where it locks up in double action. I know with my S&W's I can feel when the trigger is going to break in double action. But I had to get a feel for them, and they are all slightly different. Same thing with a Python or any revolver.
I prefer a Smith, but Colt is smoother. And harder for me to feel where I am at in the trigger pull as it stages. I have surprised myself when shooting a vintage Python and have had the gun fire before I thought it would in double action. Plus, that Federal 38 Spl lead round nose is pretty cheap and weak stuff. Sometimes lame ammunition can actually factor into a bad day at the range. It has happened to me. I have bought cheap ammo to use at the range and have frustrated the heck out of myself. And then put in some ammo I trust like the Remington UMC 357 Mag SJHP's and bang, I am dead on. I have some of the same Federal ammo at home.

I watched a Western yesterday evening. I noticed that all of the revolves (single action of course) had a brass handle with hand grips. Have not paid much attention to that before. This discussion about Henry's revolver brought that to light.
There was a brass rifle as well. The scene was too quick for me to tell if it was a Henry. But, I thinking that it was.

Finally, some more Henry Big Boy revolver review videos are starting to show up online. I can't wait to own one of the Gun Fighter models. I plan to get the Henry checkered walnut replacement grips.

Nobody should use a Leatherman style multitool to work on a firearm. He is an idiot who appears to be into the Hollywood cowboy mystique more than love of firearms. Like the fake bar with reclining nude and shot glasses at his range. Or is that common with Cowboy Action shooters everywhere?
I still think the design stinks, big time.
