You got it. I changed the mag well and threw a can on it. The can currently has the spring in it and I’m waiting for the spacer so I can shoot it.

cans make shooting all kinds of new fun. I'm working on low power 45-70 subs right now. I have to find me a passel of 405 grain coated bullets.

I even bought a threaded barrel for my M9. Its not marked military like the pistol but was made by Beretta in Italy.

I love the 92c i assembled years ago. Yes i can fit my dead air odessa 9 can on the bayonet, no i've not had the stone to try firing it with the can on. With the bayonet? Yep. It works, stabby bang!

I forgot to mention. You can often run a Beretta 92/96 series gun without a Nielsen device. It's harder on the locking piece. I typically run mine with the device and spring. But if you happen to swap between the homesteader and the beretta it will generally work. It might not be for lightweight and power 115. But usually, 124 NATO and heavy 147 grain subs have no problem

I changed the recoil spring and now might only get one miss feed in a 17 round magazine. I went from 17 pounds to 13 and that wouldn’t chamber a round. The 15 pounder seems to be the best. I haven’t spent a lot od time on this as I’m waiting on another can that is better suited for the G17.

That sounds about right. I have limited exp with glock style guns. My p80 pistols only. IIRC I ended up going 15lbs also.

I bought a few more magazines for the G17 and Homesteader.
