Im thinking of getting one and am wondering which magazine to get. I dont care for Glocks and the Sig P320 has problems. I want to get a threaded pistol and carbine that takes the same magazine.
Should i just go the Ruger way?

I think you answered your own question. Yes, if they offer the Ruger magazine as an option, I'd do that. Do you have a Ruger pistol?

Glock mags are cheap and robust and come in a wide range of sizes. 10, 15, 17, 20 and 33 rounds. Everyone makes a clone of Glock mags, Magpul, 2nd Amendment, Shield, ed brown.
For me the 2nd amendment mags have been trash, I run them in my P80's and glock mat PCC. The mag pul, Glock mags, and Ed Brown glock mags have been flawless.

Options that take Glock mags
Palmetto State Armory (PSA) Dagger: Available in Full-Size, Compact, and Micro variants, offering a budget-friendly alternative (starting around $299) that accepts standard Glock 17/22 magazines.
Shadow Systems MR920L: A high-end "Gucci Glock" clone featuring an optics-cut slide and bronze barrel that runs on Glock mags.
Lone Wolf LTD19: Features a lightweight slide and ergonomic frame upgrades while maintaining full magazine interchangeability.
ZRO Delta One: A modular grip frame pistol that serves as a unique alternative within the Glock-compatible ecosystem.
Ruger RXM: A newer polymer pistol designed to compete with the Glock platform while retaining magazine compatibility.
SilencerCo Maxim 9: A suppressor-ready pistol capable of using practically any magazine that fits a standard Glock 17.
Stealth Arms Platypus: A double-stack 1911-style pistol that can be configured to accept Glock 17 magazines.

According to their website the threaded Homesteader ships with a Glock mag well adapter.
New, out of the box, you can shoot with Henry mags (2 included) or Glock mags (Glock mags not included).
A Sig mag well adapter can be bought separately from the HenryPride store.

Do you like Glocks? I bought 2 when I decided to replace revolvers for my EDC. I did not keep them long. They were not the correct pistols for me.

Glocks have never felt right in my hands till i held a Gen 6 Glock 17. I really liked the duck tail like a 1911.

Gene, I would go with a Glock over a Ruger 9mm. In 9mm, the Glock 19 is a great all around pistol. I can't think of a Ruger I'd say the same about.

Ruger makes the RXM which is a Glock Gen 3 clone that uses Glock mags.

They make a threaded barrel version

Thanks Dave, Ive never cared for Glocks till i held a Gen 6 17. Now I'm really leaning towards it.
I wish the Gen 6 17 came threaded. There are aftermarket barrels but no Glock as of yet. I hear they are a year away.

I've had good luck with Silencer co threaded barres, but they don't have a Gen 6 yet. With Ballistic advantage in recievership
https://www.ballisticadvantage.com/gloc ... -none.html
that seems to leave barsto
https://barsto.com/product/fits-glock-1 ... -threaded/
NDZ performance
https://ndzperformance.com/ndz-glock-19 ... -g19-g6-v/
I am sure Jarvis will come along and make one.
on the flipside, Looking at the cost of a new threaded barrel, I might look at AdCo
They threaded 3 of my pistol barrels. Sig p225, Ruger P85 MKII, Jericho 941F

One advantage to getting my existing barrel threaded is all the numbers would match.
