Apparently it's not available in NY

At first, I thought it was just fairly rare. I spoke to a fellow in a gun shop a while ago and he said it wasn't NY compliant. Don't know why. No wonder I've never seen one.

And what firearm would that be?

I thought I posted this in the Homesteader section.

I'm talking about the Henry Homesteader. I don't know what it has that NY doesn't allow, except perhaps a threaded barrel end. On a 9mm, is that a necessity? We can't have cans here, so maybe a NY compliant? Dunno.

This version of the Homesteader may be legal in NY.

Model Number H027N-H9G
H27 Homesteader Carbine 9mm (Non-threaded w/ Glock® Mag Well)

That's a shame daytime dave. The Homesteader is a nice little carbine. I've got just over a thousand trouble free rounds through mine and it's my favorite for ringing steel on our 50 yard plate rack.

That configuration is banned here in Washington State too but the LGS has a non threaded version in stock. Tempting to add it to the collection of firearms I’m not shooting now.

No problem with cans here but having a threaded barrel on a semi auto rifle is a no go. Makes it kinda difficult to attach a can.
