Lucky Gunner not shipping ammo to 5 states (inc OK)

I bought my BB H006M back in November, but it's been too cold/snowy/icy to go to the range, and I didn't have that much ammo to justify a sighting-in-and-first-firing of the rifle. After checking about twice a day for months, I found some .357 MAG finally in stock at the Lucky Gunner website. About double the price, but that is the way of things now. As an existing customer, I ordered 3 boxes, only to find that that when I tried to check out on-line, I had a pop-up screen that read "unfortunately we cannot deliver to your location." What?? There hasn't been a problem in the past. I called, and customer service said it was decided to not ship to about 5 states. I wrote back asking what the problem was, and they replied "due to everything going on right now in the country we had to suspend shipping to certain areas of the country." I followed up and asked for specifics regarding "what was going on in OK that didn't allow them to ship?" They said they would pass my comment along to management.

Not a happy customer.

Interesting. I just received a strange call about ammo delivery as well. I bought 2 boxes of shells from Grad-A-Gun. It may not be strange, because I have not purchased ammo from them before, just a rifle. However, I have purchase ammo form many online retailers. Anyway, the call from FedEx stated that a signature is required. Most times, ammo is waiting when I get home. Nonetheless, I scheduled for a pick up. It may not be out of the norm. But, it was out of the norm for me.

Interesting. I would think those states to be pro-firearm.

That's odd and not what is stated on their website:

https://www.luckygunner.com/mississippi ... es#place-2

Here's the main page for the other States: https://www.luckygunner.com/state-ammo-sales

I know for a fact that MS does not stand in the way of them shipping. Something smells like rotting fish (political) to me.

I think a poster on another forum has the answer. The OK AG instituted the anti-price gouging policy as a result of the ice/snow storms, and the OK declaration of a state-of-emergency. It prohibits price increases of more than 10%, and it probably covers more than just building supplies (for making storm-related repairs). It lasts for 30 days.

I ordered ammo from Cabelas a year ago when they had it right before Civic craziness swept the nation. I wanted 22lr bulk packs on sale for $23.99 a brick. Online shopping would not let me check out,so I got in touch with customer service. They explained that they will not ship hollow point ammo to New Jersey period. I told customer service it was plated round nose that I ordered, they wouldn't ship that either because hollow points are banned in New Jersey. That was the last attempt to order from Cabelas.
