Buffalo Bore a is great ammo maker, but most of their hot 44Mag Buffalo Bore stuff is designed to go into Ruger wheel guns (i.e.Super Redhawk) where the OAL doesn't affect operation. 44 Henrys work fine with typical 44Mag ammo like 240g Federal JHP, which IMO is more than powerful enough to stop anything dead in its tracks within 100 yds in the lower 48.....

I had a bit of a problem with Hornady ammo the same. Don't know if supposed to or not but seated the bullet about .002 more and they loaded and shot fine. I'm sure the pressure changed a bit.
