My H004S doesn't care what you feed it unlike other .22 cal firearms I own, and I for one love that. Granted I usually only use a short 50 yard range, but when im done shooting whatever I'm aiming at is Toast.

Mine seems to shoot equally well with all that I've fed it so far. The worst I've noticed was some Blazer that I picked up cheep. The best is CCI 36GR Stinger 1640fps copper plated. Although I think that was due to me liking that round the best.

I've only used CCI's whether is was Mini-Mags or Standards and it likes them both.
Mini-Mags are my favorite though.

I had been shooting Norma Match 22.
Looking for something with a heavier bullet I found CCI "Suppressor" 45 grain.
I'm using it now with the Henry and other 22's.

I like CCI mini Mags also. But I have some Federal that shoot real well also.

I still have a bulk box of Federal .22 that I bought years ago. Still have it because I gave up on it. Didn't shoot well at all. CCI Mini Mag have always shot well for me.

The federal I have is the blue box and I bought it in the last year or so. There 36grhp. It shoots very good in mine. I have the SGC and the H001T

Mine came in a tan box with dark brown and black lettering and graphics. At least 15 years or more ago. I plan to use them up in my 1947 S&W K revolver at close up targets. They're no good for rifle work.

I have tried a lot of different .22 ammo and settled on either Federal Champions or Blazer though I do shoot some CCI std.
NRA & 2nd Amendment Supporter. Lyman is my middle name.

My frontier long barrel likes green tag, Wolf or Aguila equally well all shoot quarter size group at 50 yards it would shoot tighter groups with a better shooter.
