OK, I admit I'm easily swayed by gadgets .... for the most part, over time, the area where I've been burned the most is with "Amazing" fishing lures .... but that is a different story .... in the last few months I've seen TV advertisements for the "Ontel Handy Heater Turbo 800 Wall Outlet Small Space Heater with Adjustable Thermostat, Programmable 12-Hour Timer, Auto Shut Off - Quiet & Space-Saving Ceramic Mini Heater" .... my interest was largely motivated for use in our camper and a hallway in our home .... for me one point of interest is it carries an Amazon 4 out of 5 star rating based on 4,371 global ratings .... observations so far :
used as designed, it works OK
it will NOT replace a much larger whole room heater
lifetime warranty requires the owner paying to ship it back for a replacement .... no repairs, replacement only
fan is a bit noisy, quieter than my wife's hair dryer on low
after using ours I've ordered 3 more to give our kids for Christmas

Re: Ontel Handy Heater
in this case it was a second heater for just the cost of shipping
Re: Ontel Handy Heater
I bought one for our 4x6 1/2 bath. The small size and 800W output is just right for that size of room. The thermostat is a little bit off though. I have it set to 64 for an actual room temp of 68. For the size convenience, I can live with the thermostat offset.
