Apparently the Long Rangers available over here in Australia only come with a rail, no provision for open sights, which would be my preference. My question is, what would be the best way to open sight the rifle.
I could fit a receiver mounted peep, but what would be the best option for a front post?

Mine is also setup to be scoped and has no front barrel dove for a front sight. You would need to dovetail it. It’s not technically difficult but it is tedious and time consuming.
