I have found that Marlin 1953 to 1982 hammer extensions fit the Henry’s perfectly. I have one on my H009 and my single shot 20 gauge shotgun. Found this by accident I had an old flat hammer extension for an old Marlin and tried it on my 30-30 and it fit perfectly.

I dont know if the 22’s use the same size hammers but the H009 and the single shot shotguns are the same size. I bought both of mine on ebay. Thanks for the welcome!

If you haven't already tried, you might contact GroveTec. They make a wide variety of hammer extensions, but don't list Uberti specifically. They might be able to cross-reference one for you.

Carson's has what they call
"ONE SIZE FITS ALL T.C. Contenders and most exposed hammer firearms: rifles, shotguns, handguns"
At the bottom half of this page the 0110 and 0111 (black/silver respectively):
http://www.choketube.com/accessories-pr ... der&mf=400
....also Amazon for 0110 (black).
https://www.amazon.com/Carlsons-Choke-T ... +extension
Carson's is anodized aluminum and GrovTec is stainless steel. If the Grovtec fits that would be my recommendation, too. I also have a coupon code if you choose to go that route.

They probably do! The hanmer on my henry H015 shotgun is the same size as my henry H009 30-30. Grov Tech is what I bought. The old pre safety Marlin 336 hammer spur which was made until 1982 fits the Henry correctly. The Hammer spur on the single shot shotgun really helped with cocking, its much better. I put a scope on my 30-30 so a hammer spur is necessary for proper function.

I learned, through another post somewhere around here, that Henry - and Carlson's - has replaced their aluminum Hammer Extender with a steel version. There were some shooters finding the aluminum models to be bending after repeated use. I have the aluminum Carlson's model marked Henry on mine, with no problems, but not a lot of rounds fired yet, either. Since I do like Carlson's design, I ordered a couple of the steel version today, for two rifles that don't have 'em yet. As you'd expect, Henry has replaced the failed aluminum model for those that had failures, and contacted them about it.

I got one for the Henry at Brownells. Seems like they had two brands to chose from at the time. Just search "hammer extension". This is the one I got - you can mount it either left or right of the hammer.
