Has anybody seen one of these anywhere on the market yet? Have not been able to locate one,

picking up my steel 327 on monday, still want a carbine, hadn't thought about the brass model. Usually the brass models are out first.

Waiting for the steel carbine myself. Local shop has the 327 steel rifle, but wants $819 for it. I can wait for the carbine; other local shop quoted me $679, once they are in stock.

Took my 20" rifle to the range this AM for the first time. All I can say guys, you're gonna love it! With the rifle, came one of my single sevens(4 5/8"), the chronograph, spotting scope, et alles. Our club range is 14 miles out of Red Bluff Ca, in the Sierra foothils just south of Mt Lassen. Weather was standard norcal fall, low of 57, high of 90, 15% humidity. winds nnw at 10 mph.
With my first shot I was suprised with the power, the chrony showed an average 2008 fps over a 10 round string. I was using federal American eagle 100 gr, which I find to be a fairly stout load. Same load in the wheel gun ran in the 1450"s and was hurtful after the sixth or seventh round. Another thing I was trying to check, was will the rifle shoot all the other 32 ammo that the revolver will digest.Good news, the BBS handles the 32 H&R and 32 S&W Long both singly and interchangably. I didn't have any 32 S&W , nor 32 ACP around, but I'll give that a try later.
The rifle fed everything smoothly as long as you worked the lever smartly and didn't baby it. The accuracy was more than adequite with the buckhorn sights, 1 1/2 " at 50, 3" at 100. I'll be putting an optical sight on for my next trip, or at least a peep sight. I managed to pick off a ground squirrel a 70 yds. with the buckhorns.( they're burrowing through our shooting berms)

Very nice. Love your companion revolver. I was just looking at very similar Ruger in .357 to go with my .357 BBB. Just when I think I have enough guns I see another one I really want.

our family is fond of matching calibers in revolver, rifle combos .... my favorites are a Ruger Redhawk and a Henry BBS 44 Mag .... my boys like their Ruger GP100's and Henry BBS 357's .... so far, the loads we have long used in the revolvers have worked well in the rifles

That's pretty good shootin'. Those are both nice guns! I'm an old blackhawk guy myself. I once killed a running jackrabbit cutting across 30 yards in front of me with a .357 flat top with a 4" barrel. It was a lucky shot.
I only heard of the .327 in the last few weeks. The velocity is something else. Cool cartridge.
