My big boy steel carbines are very nice I just love them ,but it needs to be tweaked just a bit
I am finding that 14.25 lop is just not quick enough for me I am thinking of cutting down my stocks to 13.5 overall
The problem is now the butt pads wont fit and I will need to grind them or find something that will fit
Why am I the only one who talks of the length of pull factor on here ?
I think I will have more comfort with the trigger and speed to the shoulder on sight
chime in and tell me I am wrong lol
thanks happy new year
Ken

Re: Lenght of pull
production line long guns have to be produced in a length that fits most buyers .... for me, ours is fine .... for our youngest son who taller and has longer arms than I do, he prefers a longer stock .... In January I'm having the OEM recoil pad on our Henry 45-70 removed and install a top of the line Kick-eze Magnum Recoil Pad ===> https://kickeezproducts.com/recoil-pads ... ecoil-pad/ .... the gunsmith doing the install will adjust the stock length to keep it as it came in the box

I bought youth stocks for most of my rimfire Henrys. I like a short l.o.p. also.
