For any of you that reload for your .45-70's, Shooters Pro Shop has factory second Nosler Ballistic Tip 300gr. bullets for sale, $19.95/50. I've heard some very good reports about them, looking forward to trying them in my Henry.

Are they safe for tube magazines? I don't think that they have a soft flexible tip like the Hornady's. I could be wrong but I would look into it first.

the Nolser/Winchester Combined Technology Ballistic Silver Tip 45-70 bullets (shown below) are specifically specifically designed for use in Henry style tube magazines .... we have about 500 on hand and are looking forward to loading them we we get rid of a bunch of factor 45-70 bullets that we are firing to get the brass .... we plan to make the Nosler's our deer and boar hunting bullets
