Hornady are listing it for 2017. 110 grain gummy tip loaded ammunition and same projectile available as component. What do they know that we don't. Maybe Henry has a rifle planned for the cartridge?

I never heard of this cartridge until your post.

Doesn't seem too different from a 30-30?

[quote="JCN"]I never heard of this cartridge until your post.

Another one that most of us shooters never heard of is the 25/36 Marlin. Chambered in the 1893 Marlin and was basically a 25/35 with a longer neck. It was dropped from production I believe in the '20's and I think with the longer neck would be a better cartridge for a reloader. My friend has a '93 octagon barrel that I have been trying to buy that is chambered in 25/36. He told me when they couldn't find ammo they used 25/35 in them.
