New addition to my .45 Carbine......

Post by fortyshooter » Tue Apr 19, 2022 12:09 pm

Couldn't afford nor find an Axe so the .410 Hatchet had to do! :D

My LGS had several styles in stock and gave me a great trade deal on my old Glock 23 which I just don't shoot much or load for.
The Grizz make a nice trail shooter along with the Henry .45 Colt! Like the way the wood grips on Grizz match up with the Henry.

Don't think I would want to add the Grizz Derringer to the "How Many" count. Already added the Henry 45 Carbine....I think???

They had another called the Rowdy but the grip was a bit smaller and a rubber type for better grip. I went with this one having a bit thicker and longer grip with a place for the pinky to wrap into. Feels good in the hand and shouldn't be too bad shootin' since I am used to the Bulldog 45 Colt and the BBR Fat Boy. Will see in a day or so when I go to the range. I have a box of .410 #8 shot which could be used for any venom type issues IF needed.

I had a Bond Cowboy in .410 and didn’t care for it although it was fun to shoot it once. Can’t wait for your range report.

I had a Cobra in 22 mag. once, like you said it was fun a couple times.
The youngest daughter liked it so I gifted it to her.
I don't want another no matter the cal.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...

Local guy has this Circuit Judge in 45/410 for sale. I always thought these were a cool set up and it looks like it would be fun to shoot.

You’re set up looks great, that pistol is really nice with those grips.

I have the Rowdy in 410/.45 Colt. The rubber grips did not last very long and they sent me a replacement at no cost. However BRM very kindly sent me a larger grip that I have been using and carrying everyday. That works very well. Also the gun shoots pretty well and while I have only shot 8 rounds at one time it was painless at least for me. Have fun Forty.
