Just wondering how accurate your BBS .45 colts are with cast bullets. I've been working all kinds of loads with 255 and 300g bullets. My rifle does not like the Lee 255 swc bullets. I have tried so many powders it aint funny. A 10 shot group looks like a buckshot pattern. The RNFP bullets on the other hand are excellent. I can shoot 1" 50yd groups all day long with the Lee c300g .452 rf and the Lee 255g .452 rf. It's taken awhile but I have some great loads with Unique, A#5, A#9, 2400, and BE-86. I'm just frustrated that I can't get the SWCs to shoot well.

I've been using Missouri 250gr rnfp plain or coated with 8.0gr Unique or 7.2gr Universal with very good accuracy from my Henry BB steel .45 Colt.
I've loaded and shot a few with BE-86 with good results also. Still working on that one. Hard to beat Unique in the Colt. I'm no help with SWC's.

Id give Missouri Cast SWC a try. Also Rimrock bullets. They both are good cast bullets.

I've loaded 45LC for my ol pal in Arizona. Oregon trail laser cast 250gr flat point. This is a Rossi rifle and Ruger Black hawk revolver.. he said they shoot lights out in both. I loaded them on the warm side with 700X and starline brass.

I was running out of my MBC 250rnfp, MBC has a long wait to order, looked around and found a new source, checked 25 bullets for consistency dia .452, weight 250 -255gr, length .006 variance, some of the nicest bullets I've bought.
