Probably not as hard as reloading a muzzleloader though???
Actually though I've never tried it it'd be easier than the muzzle loaders mostly then in use. And the .44 Henry being a rimfire there'd be no primer for water to leak in around. If the crimp was good it'd probably withstand a lot of moisture which black powder in a flask & percussion caps wouldn't. I think overall it was a huge advantage if a bit underpowered.
