It may be early to turn them on but now is the time to put them up. I have all the lighted decorations up but not all are hooked to electricity. The ones hooked up I turned on for the picture and then turned them off. I’ll turn everything on the day after Thanksgiving.

Looking good there.

I rolled out and debagged our indoor Christmas tree in the rec room this week. This morning I started assembling the outdoor snow family in the garage.

Thanks. I don’t decorate the house because it’s so far from the road all the detail would be lost. I decorate Alice (Allis Chalmers) up because it’s close to the road. So far I decorate for Valentines Day, summer without lights, Halloween and Christmas/Winter. I want to keep building on my seasonal decorations for even minor holidays.

People stop me when they see me and tell me they really like what I’ve done with the place.

That says a lot right there. I'll bet some of them look forward to seeing what "Alice" is wearing for the holiday(s).

of that I have no doubt .... you have a really nice place that could well be used on a Hallmark Christmas Card .... we haven't been home at Christmas for many years and no longer have any children living at home .... nonetheless, my wife puts up an artificial tree and a few other decorations ....

tree up but not decorated. Outside lights on. It is early for me but I need something to distract me from the outside world.

We put out our light up Rudolph deer for our grand daughter. Nothing else until after Thanksgiving.
