Minus 21? Welcome to Wisconsin.
Like the steep pitch on the roof. Means you won't have to go up on the roof to shovel snow to reduce the risk of damage. Not a fun job. Ask us how we know.

Gene, nice to see you found a new home. We may head to Ely, MN with our truck camper and canoes to paddle the BWCA, maybe we can stop by on the way. Looks like your going to need an RV structure to put your motor home under.

Re: Home Sweet Wisconsin
I was thinking it needed a metal roof so it could slide off. The owner that remodeled the house stopped by and gave me the names of a roof shoveler and snow plow guy. He lived in the house for nine years and had to have it shoveled twice.North Country Gal wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 10:47 amMinus 21? Welcome to Wisconsin.![]()

The house was built between 1900 and 1910. The studs in the walls are a true 2x4 and are not spaced uniform. The windows are very expensive and so are the tile floors. The cabinets and doors are lesser quality. The upstairs is hardwood floors. There is no carpet anywhere in the house.
It’s snowing hard right now and is a total whiteout. I can’t see the hill any and the schoolhouse just became invisible.
Ya betcha this is Wisconsin.

You are welcome anytime. I’m going to sell the RV. I’m more of a teardrop kind of guy.

The school house is no longer visible. It disappeared an hour ago. This is a telephoto view from my front porch.

Re: Home Sweet Wisconsin
We've shoveled off our roof twice in the 12 years we've been here. Getting the same weather, today. Did get out on the fat bike for a short ride, though.

Gene, RV’s are still pretty hot right now, spring will be a great time to put it on the market.
