Gasoline/Diesel/Propane Prices

87 octane at my local station is $4.25.

I'm sure prices will come down soon, though. We have the very best minds in the world working on it day and night and, of course, our Dept of War totally and unilaterally obliterated Iran many months ago. They're the cause of this global energy crisis and they no longer have an Army or Navy or Air Force. Everything should be fine shortly. We've just got to be patient for a while longer and be grateful that they can't threaten us anymore. Phew!

I filled up at $4.09 a gallon. Gasoline plays a very small part in my cost of living so I’m not too concerned.

Good price compared to here. But, I think you might be underestimating the affect that global energy prices have on your personal cost of living. If you are a consumer in in this economy, you are affected. You still might not be concerned. Good for you.

I paid $5.09/gallon for off-road (red) diesel a couple of days ago. I noticed the road diesel was $5.69/gallon.

Between gasoline, red diesel and fertilizer, planting food plots is expensive this year. It took $107 plus change to fill up the Super Duty with gasoline yesterday.

Also, I broke a disc on a disc harrow today. The $ meter doesn't stop running.

A mouse or something chewed a wire on the Transit van. That and two tire pressure sensors who’s batteries died cost me $467.

Your mention of red diesel got me thinking. I spend between $250 and $300 to mow the lawn each summer.
