I don’t know, I just took a look and can’t find a manufacturer name anywhere. Of course it’s too heavy to move so couldn’t see the rear or far side.
I’m retired from Boeing and this cabinet is what they bought by the 1000’s. I got this in a surplus sale for dirt cheap. Funny, back in the late 90’s Boeing adopted the Toyota Manufacturing System (lean manufacturing) which included a process called 5S. In the 5S process we were required to eliminate anything that wasn’t “value added”. There was a huge exodus of supplies and equipment that was sent to the Surplus Store. I spent many years as a fork lift driver and I swear that at the same time I was loading out tank desks and these filing cabinets onto one truck to surplus my co-driver was unloading brand new desks and cabinets from another. I’m exaggerating here but the insanity was prevalent.
As you can see from these pics there is a locking plate that closes in front of the drawers allowing a padlock to be put in place. Boeing of course had lots of secure documents that required being locked. These cabinets are built like a tank. For me if ever needed I can lock up all my ammo. But our kids are grown and gone and the grandkids live in California. When they visit I just lock my entire loading room. Great kids but one can’t be too safe.
