I sometimes have to adjust my pics. They can't be larger than 1024 wide and 768 high.

The dragons fly on 750 lb. line. The white delta (11 feet across) and the multi-colored star (7 feet across) fly on 150 lb. line. The octopus flies on 750 to 1000 lb. line, depending on the wind conditions.

WOW! Awesome kites. I remember as a kid at the playground across the street in L.A., the caretakers of the playground would have many of the neighborhood kids get involved in various hobbies like kite making. They supplied the sticks and paint. We brought in newspapers and cut them up to make the kites. They were just basic kites, but we would take some popsicle sticks, sharpen an end to a point on the sidewalk and have kite fights, trying to cut into one another's kite. Lots of fun!

Saw alot of kites in Texas on the beach at Port Aransas this winter. Some very impressive displays of them. Some guys had 4 and 5 flying at a time with wind spinners on the main kite line.
