Love playing Roundabout or Long Distance Runaround on bass. Too fun.

Roundabout = one of the greatest base lines I’ve ever listened too.RanchRoper wrote:Love playing Roundabout or Long Distance Runaround on bass. Too fun.

It is intricate and not easy. Chris Squire was masterful.

When I think of clarinets, I think of the intro to "Rhapsody in Blue" by Gershwin. I believe the technique is called "glissamo" or slide . By what ever it is called, you have to know what your doing. Iconic intro to a classic work.

Re: Music stuff
Can't believe I didn't see this until this morning. I am a kind of retired semi pro musician. I have played country music going back to the 60's. I started playing rock but there was no money in it at my level of playing. I knew some people that played country and they let me play in there band. I played almost every week up until 5 years ago. I would like to still be playing but don't think I have the stamina to do it. I did get inducted into the New York Country Music Hall Of Fame back in 2010. My wife is also in the Hall Of Honor there. here is a pic of most of my guitars. I have added a couple more since this pick was taken. I bought a Gretsch 6120-55 VS a couple of years ago and am about to add a Merle Haggard tough dog telley.
