An early Christmas gift

Today I drove home a new vehicle.
An Artic Cat 2023 Prowler Pro XT to be exact. We saw it at the dealership a few weeks ago. John Deere was my preference, but they don't have any to sell you. This one compared well to the JD model I was thinking about, better in lot's of areas. Soooooooo, today we went by again and the other models they expected weren't there. A discussion with the owner indicated they have been on the way and should be there "next week" for over a month. John Deere wanted us to order one with a deposit and get it x number of months out. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, so we pulled the pin.
It's not like brokenol'marine's posh ac/heat totally enclosed cab one, but it wasn't intended to be. It should be handy and just plain fun around the property. The test spins have been fun so far.
It will help with hauling things (and us) to the top of the pasture hill and be fun with the family.

That's awesome Dave! congratulations! I know it will serve you well and bring many smiles as well. Back in 2019, I bought a new Quad but wish I had bought a side x side. You can always add to it as you deem necessary. Good for you!
BTW, great that it has the brush guard/bumper.

Only thing that I can see that it needs is a rifle rack.

Yeah, yeah, I got posh used.

But in great condition. I paid about the same as the new base model with zero upgrades, so I got lucky. Yours looks good and should be fun... But I just can't take the cold anymore.
Funny thing, the neighbors just bought one tonight, pick it up tomorrow.
CanAm Defender 1000. No cab, but did get a winch.

Awesome Dave. I want one except I need all the bells and whistles. I see them on the county roads all the time.

You'll be surprised how much use you get out of it. I'd look out and Miss T would be pulling out the tractor to haul a dump trailer. Nope, the utv. Pulling out the wheelbarrow to move mulch or gravel. Nope, dump bed on utv. (Back in VA we didn't have a bucket on the tractor.) I use it to run the fence lines, search for cows that don't come up... with a grabber, drive down the ditchline to pick up trash.
Yup, you'll be surprised.

Gene, go for it. You won't be sorry.

They sure ride smoother than a tractor also.

Very nice Dave and congratulations on being on Santa’s extra special super good list.
Nice machine that will serve you well. I see the winch is already on it so it should be east to add a snow blade should you choose to.

It is already fun. Our grand daughter had a huge grin on her face as we s.l.o.w.l.y. took her around the yard.
I do wish I had put the goggles on yesterday for the road drive. 30 mph was brisk on the eyes.
The winch came with it. It was also the only one they had and would be getting for a while.
Gene, get the nicest one you can find. Be comfortable and enjoy it.
