Real truckers don’t need a clutch to shift gears. Just need it to start out.Cowboy Gun Fan wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 11:01 pmAnd all that money and I bet No Clutch Pedals to boot.

At least that money rig is pulling a nice camper around. You ought to have seen some of the rigs I have seen just to pull horses around. The yearly get together at Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus , Ohio will make your mouth water to see all the fancy rigs coming ,going and what there is to sell.
Re: F650
I drive an F550 once in a while. It has the 6.7L diesel. The thing pulls like a freight train. I have a CAT engine in my everyday 26' Flatbed and it's a dog. I can't even climb a small hill without dropping two gears.

Re: F650
I'm from the old school and always use the Clutch, lol.
I'll match anyone 10 Gears up and 10 Gears down with a 10-Speed Road Ranger, lol.
Even Two Sticks to boot. (Both Fully Non-Synchronized Transmissions)
On a more serious note though, if any of those new trucks did have a Manual Trans, they best be using the Clutch. Not a good idea to shift a Synchronized Trans without it, besides probably voiding the warranty, if detected.
