good guess, there is a great deal of country in Colorado that would look similar but not in Colorado

not in North Dakota .... we didn't make it to North Dakota, we were in eastern South Dakota, just north of Sioux Falls .... the mountains in South Dakota are in the far western part of the state in the Black Hills .... Took a cruise there. I Highly Recommend a visit there.
BTW. I will moving to NC in about 6 months to be closer to the grandkids. Tips on enjoying your state encouraged.
