This is my sofa and it is very comfortable. I had to raise it two inches because it was like sitting on the floor.

Before we sold our Boerne Texas Place we always had a chigger problem when we were down there. We found Chiggerex at Walmart to work better than anything for us.

Albuquerque traffic isn’t to my liking so I think I’ll cut across NM6 to hit I-40 just west of it and take Route 66 to Gallup and then head north on US491 to Cortez.

Don't think I've ever been on Route 66, we drove back back east a lot when I was a kid but usually to N. Dakota so further North.

Looks like lots of long closed businesses. Due to the interstates?

I grew up not too far from US66 and have been on bits of it lots of times as a young man. I always wanted to ride my motorcycle the full length of it but I don't think I'll ever get that opportunity. Should have done it about 11 years ago before my wife and I had to take on taking care of her sister. It's a 24/7 job for the two of us. No regrets.

Yes. Just like the cartoon movie Cars. Route 66 parallels I-40 from Oklahoma to LA. Over the decades there has been dozens of realignments. Cities fought to have the route go through their town. For the most part Route 66 was all about stimulating the economy wherever it was. Back about ten years ago I took six weeks to do it from Joplin to the California border. I’ve avoided CA for a long time.
