Nice machine. Much quieter than the old Husky. Has
cruise control and a gas gage. Drove it around mowing a little, and very pleased with the performance even in deep rye grass. Very tight turn radius.
Hopefully this will be the last mower I'll ever have to buy.
It even came with an operator - usually hides in the compartment on the right fender. I had to promise I wouldn't reveal his real name before he'd let me snap a pic. He's in deep cover as an engineer. You might recognize him.

Good looking mower. Hope you don't need the engineer.

Very nice. Is it a twin cylinder? I have discovered that twins are so much smoother running that single cylinder motors.
Oh, I do recognize your “ride along engineer”. Love that tie.

Congratulations on your new John Deere. They deliver a nice cut and should be trouble free for a long time.

Congrats. Hope you have a long trouble free relationship with the mower and it's engineer.

V-twin Kawasaki. This engine is an upgrade from the S220 model. Also has a heavy duty hydrostatic trans, digital fuel gage & sealed roller bearings in the front wheels instead of the usual bushings you find on lesser models and makes. More specs here:

That transmission is a nice upgrade from similar ones in that size category.
